Our Story
Plastobag Group was started in 1968 as a family business that entered the plastics industry when it was still in its nascent stages.
Since then, it has taken rapid strides by evolving with the market and technological advancements to become a successful manufacturer — moving from polythene and polypropylene in the early years to predominantly biopolymer compounds in recent times. Over the decades, we have diversified our process capabilities, expanded our product portfolio from simple bags and films to advanced compostable formats, and integrated cutting-edge technologies such as QR-coded traceability, all while adapting to changing customer needs and shifting toward more sustainable solutions. This journey reflects our ability to adapt, innovate, and align with the growing demand for eco-friendly packaging alternatives.
